My life lately
Things have really changed this year (2010). I started my new career, lost a few friends, and I’ve become closer to my future husband. I really do believe that everything happens for a reason. We might not know what that reason is and if we do know we may not understand it, but it’s true. I’ve lost a lot of people in my life, but the ones that are still around are the ones that matter most. My amazing little prince Trey keeps me going each and every day. I had him 11 days after my father passed away and thank God I did because I wouldn’t have survived such a tragedy without him. I lost my faith in God for a little while after my Dad passed, but lately I have started to regain my faith again. I want to start going to church again and I want Trey to know what it’s like to have God in his life. My little sister has opened my eyes to God a lot too. We both have been through a lot and to see her be so strong after all of it really amazes me. On another note, my mother is getting remarried on March 13th to my step dad whom has been around since I was 14 years old. He’s a great guy and I’m happy for her. No one will ever take the place of my dad, but if it has to be someone other than him then I’m glad it’s Manuel. I’ve never been a maid of honor before so it should be a fun event. :)
